<h4><span lang="en-us">Ingredients:</span></h4>
<ul>
<li><span lang="en-us">1 whole chicken (3 1/2 to 4 lb; rinsed; patted dry)</span></li>
<li><span lang="en-us">1 1/2 tablespoons kosher salt</span></li>
<li><span lang="en-us">2 teaspoons cracked white pepper</span></li>
<li><span lang="en-us">1 lemon (halved)</span></li>
<li><span lang="en-us">2 fresh bay leaves</span></li>
<li><span lang="en-us">4 springs rosemary (roughly chopped)</span></li>
<li><span lang="en-us">4 tablespoons unsalted butter (at room temperature)</span></li>
<li><span lang="en-us">3 carrots (peeled; cut into thirds)</span></li>
<li><span lang="en-us">3 ribs celery (peeled; cut into thirds)</span></li>
<li><span lang="en-us">3 onions (peeled; cut into quarters)</span></li>
<li><span lang="en-us">1 cup chicken stock</span></li>
<li><span lang="en-us">1 cup dry white wine</span></li>
</ul>
<h4><span lang="en-us">Recipe:</span></h4>
<ol>
<li><span lang="en-us">Preheat the oven to 500°F.</span></li>
<li><span lang="en-us">Season the chicken both inside and out with kosher salt and pepper. Squeeze the lemon halves over the chicken.</span></li>
<li><span lang="en-us">Place the lemon rinds and the bay leaves inside the chicken&#8217;s cavity.</span></li>
<li><span lang="en-us">In a small bowl, combine the rosemary and butter. Rub the chicken both inside and out with the butter and stuffed the remaining butter between the skin and meat.</span></li>
<li><span lang="en-us">In a 9 by 13 inch roasting pan, add the carrots, celery, and onions. Place the seasoned chicken in the roasting pan over the vegetables.</span></li>
<li><span lang="en-us">Place the pan in the oven and roast the chicken for 50-60 minutes until the juices run clear and the thermometer registers at 160°F.</span></li>
<li><span lang="en-us">Remove the chicken from the oven and allow for cool for 10-15 minutes before carving.</span></li>
<li><span lang="en-us">Pour off excess fat from pan and return to heat. Whisk in chicken stock and white wine and bring to boil. Then reduce to a simmer. Reduce gravy by half until thickened.</span></li>

<p> <span lang="en-us">Preheat oven to 350°F. Place all ingredients in bag and shake to thoroughly coat chicken and vegetables with the spices. Seal bag and punch couple holes. Place bag in a baking pan, arrange chicken in 1 layer so pieces do not over lap. Bake 40 minutes or until chicken is done. To serve, open bag carefully and arrange chicken and vegetables in a plate.</span></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Kızartmayı çok severim ama hiç sağlıklı değil diyenlerdenseniz &#8211; bizim evde bir tane var da &#8211; aynı lezzeti fırında pişirerek de bulabilirsiniz. Üstelik ne evde kızartma kokusu oluyor ne de tava da kızartma kaparken olduğu gibi yağ etrafa üstüme şıçradı derdi. Ben evdeki patlıcan, kabak, patates, domates, ve renkli küçük dolmabiberlerini kullandım. Bir eksiğimiz sivribiber &#8230;</p>

<p><strong>Malzemeleri:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>3 boy patlıcan</li>
<li>3 kabak</li>
<li>10 küçük kırmızı ve portakal rengi dolmabiberi</li>
<li>3 kırmızı patates</li>
<li>3-4 yemek kaşığı zeytinyağı</li>
<li>Bir tutam tuz, bir tutam karabiber</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Hazırlanması:</strong></p>
<ol>
<li>Patlıcanları <em><span style="font-style: normal;">boyuna</span></em> aralıklı soyun. 1 cm kalınlığında boyuna dilim dilim kesin ve 3-4 parmak kalınlığında doğrayın. 20-25 dakika tuzlu soğuk suda bekletin. Sonra bol suda tuzunu akıtmak için yıkayın.</li>
<li>Kabakları kazıyıp yıkadıktan sonra 1 cm kalınlığında daireler şeklinde kesin.</li>
<li>Biberleri boyuna ikiye kesip çekirdeklerini ve sapını temizleyin. 3-4 parmak kalınlığında oldukları için ben doğramadım ama çok büyüklerse doğrayın.</li>
<li>Patateslerin kabuklarını fırça ile suyun altında iyice temizleyin. Kabuklarıyla birlikte elma dilimi şeklinde doğrayın.</li>
<li>Tüm sebzeleri iyice kurulayın. Genişçe bir kapta sebzeleri zeytinyağı, tuz, ve karabiber ile iyice karıştırın. Büyükçe fırın tepsisine sebzeleri tek kat şeklinde dizip 200°C&#8217;ye ısıtılmış fırında pişirin. Altına yapışmaması için yağlı kağıt serebilirsiniz. Patateslerin pişmesi biraz daha uzun süreceği için onları diğer sebzelerden ayrı pişirin.</li>
<li>Domatesleri enlemesine ortadan ikiye bölün. Üzerlerinden çok az zeytinyağı gezdirin ve tuz-karabiber ekin. Kesilen kısımları üste gelecek şekilde fırın tepsisine dizin ve içleri pişene kadar fırında pişirin.</li>
